About the Role
Julius Berger Nigeria Plc is a leading construction company offering integrated solutions and executing complex infrastructure, industry, and building projects. We are currently seeking a dedicated Machine Operator and Installation Master to join our dynamic team and contribute to our high-standard operations across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise laboratory activities and testing operations to maintain high standards.
- Advise management and projects on material engineering matters.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental requirements.
- Manage the training and development of laboratory and operational personnel.
- Oversee testing plans, documentation, and reporting.
- Support the resolution of material-related non-conformities efficiently.
- Coordinate seamlessly with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Completed technical training such as Construction Equipment Operator, Road Builder, Concrete Builder, or Agricultural and Construction Machinery Mechatronics Technician, or comparable practical qualification.
- Extensive experience working with heavy construction machinery.
- Proven experience in concrete road construction, ideally utilizing WIRTGEN sliding formwork pavers.
- In-depth knowledge of machine control, hydraulics, and measurement techniques.
- Valid operating permission, driving licence, and HSE instructions.
- Willingness to work in shifts, travel to changing construction sites, and perform outdoor work.
- Strong safety awareness, reliability, teamwork, and meticulous working methods.
