About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is hiring a dedicated and experienced Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing and production team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining smooth daily production operations by efficiently running bottle production lines, sachet packaging machines, and filling line equipment. We are looking for a hands-on professional committed to minimizing downtime, ensuring top-tier product quality, and strictly adhering to workplace safety and hygiene regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor bottle production lines, sachet machines, and filling line equipment to meet daily production targets.
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines according to product specifications and packaging requirements.
- Conduct routine machine inspections, basic preventive maintenance, and minor mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ensure accurate filling, sealing, packaging, and labeling of products in compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor production output and material usage to minimize waste and maximize machine efficiency.
- Maintain proper cleaning and sanitation of machines and the designated production area.
- Complete accurate production records, machine logs, and shift handover reports.
- Comply with all company policies, occupational health, and safety regulations.
- OND, technical certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience as a Machine Operator within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
- Demonstrated practical experience operating bottle lines, sachet packaging machines, and filling line equipment.
- Strong understanding of machine setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and meet strict deadlines.
