Michael Stevens Consulting is recruiting on behalf of our client for a dynamic and results-driven LPG Plant Manager to lead daily operations at our liquefied petroleum gas facility. Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily plant operations, encompassing the safe filling, storage, and distribution of LPG products.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory standards, including NMDPRA guidelines.
- Manage proactive and reactive plant maintenance schedules to eliminate operational bottlenecks and minimize downtime.
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate plant personnel across shifts to foster a high-performance work culture.
- Monitor inventory stock levels, daily production output, and machinery performance metrics.
- Lead thorough incident investigations and implement robust corrective and preventive safety measures.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of cognate experience in LPG or downstream gas plant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of LPG handling procedures and regulatory compliance requirements in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and crisis-management capabilities.
- Possession of relevant professional safety certifications such as HSE Level 3, NEBOSH, or equivalent is a distinct advantage.
