About the Role
Artee Group, a leading name in Nigeria's retail and consumption space encompassing brands like SPAR and Lifestyle, is looking for a proactive Loss Prevention Officer. In this role, you will safeguard our store operations, inventory, and assets by preventing theft, fraud, and operational errors.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor all goods-in processes in the back store and receiving areas to verify deliveries against invoices and report discrepancies immediately.
- Supervise stock movement from receiving bays into stockrooms, ensuring accurate documentation and preventing unauthorized removals.
- Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) among store and vendor staff during receiving, storage, and stock replenishment.
- Conduct thorough bag checks and security screening for staff and vendors exiting restricted areas.
- Maintain vigilant CCTV surveillance of receiving bays, stockrooms, and cash points to detect suspicious activities or collusion.
- Enforce strict access control in restricted zones and document all incidents of theft, fraud, or SOP violations.
- Support internal investigations, maintain accurate loss prevention logbooks, and assist with regular audit reviews.
- Minimum of a Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or retail security operations.
- Strong working knowledge of retail receiving, stockroom management, and cashiering processes.
- Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems and electronic article surveillance (EAS).
