About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC is a leading financial services group in Nigeria, offering comprehensive banking, wealth management, and investment solutions. We are currently looking for a dynamic and driven Business Manager to join our Information Technology team in Lagos. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Head of Information Technology, driving the execution of technology strategy, executive governance, performance management, and seamless stakeholder alignment to ensure leadership decisions translate into measurable business success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage ad-hoc and strategic meetings while coordinating technology leadership, EXCO, and Board governance activities.
- Handle IT Board and EXCO submissions along with committee secretarial duties.
- Drive financial management and MIS reporting in close collaboration with Technology Business Control.
- Translate technology priorities into clear action plans, milestones, assigned owners, and measurable outcomes.
- Track strategic initiatives, dependencies, risks, and benefits while resolving cross-functional delivery issues.
- Prepare concise, high-quality Board papers, presentations, and executive briefings.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across Stanbic IBTC businesses, corporate functions, and the Standard Bank Group matrices.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Management, Economics, English Communications, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL or PMP will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in strategy interpretation, business management, finance, or executive-office management.
- Prior experience in banking, financial services, technology, or another regulated environment is strongly preferred.
