About the Role
The Choice Sanitary Wares Nigeria is a leading and trusted name in the building and plumbing materials industry across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and proactive Logistics Officer to join our growing team and help streamline our nationwide supply chain and distribution network.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate timely and secure delivery of goods to customers and between company branches, ensuring assigned vehicles match dispatch requirements.
- Verify that loaded goods correspond accurately with approved waybills, invoices, and dispatch documentation before transit.
- Manage and supervise company drivers, dispatch riders, and third-party transporters to guarantee compliance with safety and delivery schedules.
- Maintain comprehensive logs, waybills, and transfer records, securing signed delivery confirmations for seamless auditing and reconciliation.
- Monitor logistics expenses including fuel, transportation, and loading costs while actively identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with inventory, sales, and procurement teams to prevent unauthorized stock movement and swiftly report any discrepancies or damages.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in logistics, distribution, warehouse operations, or the building materials sector is a strong advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of local transportation routes, Nigerian road safety laws, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
