About the Role
Bell Oil & Gas, a leading wholly-owned Nigerian oil services company, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Logistics Officer to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless flow of our supply chain activities, from inbound goods validation to timely dispatch, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional services to the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate base operations and manage inbound and outbound goods validations and revalidations.
- Ensure timely dispatch of validated goods and oversee oilfield materials management, including OCTG handling and storage.
- Process Form M and PAAR efficiently while ensuring strict adherence to supply chain processes and procedures.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and clearing agents to coordinate seamless port operations and transportation.
- Plan and coordinate shipment scheduling, resource allocation, route optimization, and contingency planning.
- Manage risks and ensure compliance with import/export legislation and safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly logistics reports to management.
- Possession of a University Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or port operations within the oil and gas industry.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to drive confidently.
- Demonstrated expertise in transportation management, global trade regulations, and risk compliance.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
