We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in streamlining our distribution network, optimizing delivery routes, and maintaining our high standards of operational excellence across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Plan shipment schedules, maximize truck utilization, optimize delivery routes, and book reliable third-party logistics carriers or company fleets.
- Collaborate closely with sales and warehouse teams to guarantee accurate and timely loading and dispatch of goods.
- Manage relationships with transport providers while tracking carrier performance against established Service Level Agreements.
- Swiftly resolve transit delays, product damages, delivery discrepancies, and customer complaints.
- Generate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports focusing on transit times and operational efficiency.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all company records, operational data, and sensitive information.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience in a logistics, supply chain, or related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong basic English communication skills to ensure seamless cross-departmental collaboration.
