About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in our warehouse operations by ensuring the efficient and secure movement of heavy materials, supporting our daily logistical needs and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, lifting, moving, and stacking warehouse materials.
- Handle marble, granite, tiles, slabs, and other heavy materials with utmost care to prevent breakage.
- Transport materials securely within the warehouse and designated storage areas.
- Ensure all materials are properly positioned and secured to prevent accidents and damage.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols around the forklift operating and storage areas.
- Handle all company equipment, materials, and property responsibly and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Previous professional experience as a Forklift Operator in a busy warehouse environment.
- Proven ability to safely handle and maneuver heavy, bulky materials.
- Prior experience handling marble, granite, tiles, slabs, or similar construction products is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of general warehouse operations and occupational health and safety procedures.
- Valid forklift operating license or relevant professional certification is highly preferred.
