About the Role
Dreamworks Global Logistics Limited is a premier player in the Nigerian logistics market, dedicated to partnering with clients to achieve their business goals. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Manager to lead our daily transportation and supply chain operations. In this critical role, you will optimize fleet performance, supervise logistics personnel, and ensure all delivery targets and service-level agreements are consistently met across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate daily logistics, transportation, dispatches, and route planning activities to guarantee timely service delivery.
- Supervise drivers, riders, dispatch personnel, and other key logistics staff to maintain high operational standards.
- Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, fuel consumption, and overall fleet performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and relevant Nigerian regulatory requirements.
- Track delivery performance, identify operational challenges, and implement practical solutions to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
- Liaise seamlessly with customers, vendors, and internal departments to swiftly resolve any delivery issues.
- Prepare and review comprehensive logistics reports, operational KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Develop and execute advanced strategies to enhance cost management, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including substantial time in a managerial or supervisory logistics capacity within a freight, transport, or supply chain company.
