About the Role
DP World is a leading global supply chain solutions provider dedicated to making the world's trade flow better. We are currently looking for a diligent and experienced Controller: Inventory (Gas) to join our operations in Ibadan, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will oversee and manage gas inventory for our operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, minimizing losses, and optimizing resource utilization to support our seamless supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate day-to-day diesel dump operations and supervise gas dispensing officers.
- Perform daily gas usage reconciliations, dipping to ascertain quantities, and generate Goods Received Notes (GRN).
- Monitor gas capturing via probes for trucks and stationary tanks, reconciling differences with technical partners.
- Maintain probe accuracy, report probe statuses on Imanager, and collaborate with technical support for optimal performance.
- Process approvals on Imanager and raise daily gas issuance reports on Instanta and SAP.
- Conduct weekly reconciliations of SAP, Instanta, and physical inventory data.
- Estimate monthly gas utilization to prevent shortages or excessive surpluses.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in inventory management, planning, and forecasting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using ERP systems, particularly SAP, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving, reconciliation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with automated probe systems, fleet operations, and fuel dump management.
