About the Role
Pinnacle Oil & Gas Ltd is a leading indigenous company operating across the downstream value chain of the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Lead to join our growing operations team at the Free Zone in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. In this role, you will play a critical part in maximizing our fleet performance, driving cost-efficiency, and ensuring seamless product delivery across local, inter-district, and bridging operations.
Key Responsibilities- Maximize truck utilization and efficiency through proactive planning, scheduling, and deployment.
- Optimize fleet operations to significantly reduce fuel consumption and overall operating costs.
- Ensure the assigned fleet consistently meets or exceeds minimum monthly trip targets.
- Collaborate closely with the internal sales team and third-party customers to identify and secure lucrative haulage opportunities.
- Guarantee timely, safe, and reliable delivery of petroleum products for local, inter-district, and bridging operations.
- Coordinate prompt truck mobilization to strictly adhere to loading schedules and customer requirements.
- Monitor daily delivery performance closely and proactively resolve any bottlenecks or issues affecting service delivery.
- Possession of a Bachelor degree or HND in Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in haulage, logistics operations, or fleet management, preferably holding a Logistics Lead or Supervisor title.
- Relevant professional or administrative certifications will be considered a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining excellent reporting discipline and data accuracy.
- Proximity to the Ibeju-Lekki axis in Lagos State is an added advantage.
