About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Information Technology Services industry for a dedicated and organized Logistics Assistant to join their dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining operational efficiency by supporting inventory management, logistics coordination, and service centre operations.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and record incoming IT parts and equipment accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records across internal inventory and CRM systems.
- Monitor stock levels and actively support inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate the seamless movement of parts and equipment between various service centre locations.
- Prepare comprehensive shipment documentation and ensure proper packaging and dispatch of items.
- Track deliveries closely and follow up on any transit delays to meet strict service commitments.
- Manage the receipt, dispatch, and return workflow for defective parts and equipment.
- Maintain precise documentation to support reporting, compliance, and internal audit requirements.
- Provide reliable administrative and operational support to the broader service operations team.
- Ensure proper physical storage, organization, and security of all inventory items.
- Support engineers and service personnel by ensuring the timely allocation and issuance of parts.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal operational procedures and service-level agreements.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Prior experience within an IT hardware, technical service centre, or technology-related environment is a strong added advantage.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good foundational understanding of logistics, inventory control, and core supply chain processes.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and meticulous record-keeping skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- High attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
