About the Role
Arrupe Jesuit College (AJC), a prestigious institution belonging to the Society of Jesus in the Roman Catholic Church, is currently seeking a professional and safety-conscious School Driver to join our dedicated support team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of our students, staff, and institutional goods, upholding the high standards of discipline and care that define our community.
Key Responsibilities- Safely and responsibly operate college vehicles in compliance with all Nigerian traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport students, staff, and goods to designated locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and basic upkeep of assigned school vehicles at all times.
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of goods, luggage, or school materials as required.
- Demonstrate exemplary conduct and professionalism as a representative of Arrupe Jesuit College.
- Proven professional driving experience with a verifiable clean driving record and valid Nigerian driver's license.
- Deep familiarity with local traffic laws, major road networks, and navigation routes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a courteous and patient demeanor.
- High level of safety consciousness, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to occasionally lift and move heavy objects or luggage when necessary.
- Previous experience working as a school driver or in a similar institutional environment is a strong advantage.
