About the Role

Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE, a leading global humanitarian organization dedicated to ending world hunger, is recruiting a Logistics and Supply Chain Manager. You will play a critical role in managing logistics operations that directly support our mission to save malnourished children's lives and provide communities with access to safe water and sustainable hunger solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and optimize supply chain capacity including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
  • Monitor logistics performance indicators and analyze key metrics to enhance service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with ACF policies and maintain accurate documentation of all logistics activities
  • Manage base operations, including facilities maintenance, utilities, and staff welfare
  • Oversee fleet and equipment management with accurate asset inventories and cost optimization
  • Supervise ICT services and communication systems to ensure reliable operational support
  • Develop and implement security protocols in collaboration with field teams
  • Lead and mentor the logistics team, delegating tasks and conducting performance reviews
  • Coordinate logistics activities with partner organizations and strengthen their capacity through training
  • Produce comprehensive monthly logistics reports and recommendations for improvement

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Professional certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (CIPS, CILT) desirable
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics and supply chain management in humanitarian/NGO settings
  • Strong leadership, team management, and staff development capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Hausa; ability to work in challenging environments
  • High integrity, accountability, and commitment to gender equality
