About the Role

Scruples Resources, a leading provider of consultancy, resource development, and human resource solutions across all sectors of the Nigerian economy, is seeking a skilled Logistics Advisor Level II. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless import and export processes, and supporting complex upstream drilling activities across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-country scouting trips to assess logistical requirements and operational needs.
  • Supervise supply base and warehouse operations, including movement of materials, equipment, personnel, vessels, trucks, and aircraft.
  • Coordinate logistics and procurement support for international drilling activities.
  • Serve as the primary contact with customs officials and freight forwarding companies for import/export clearance.
  • Maintain accurate import/export records and regulatory documentation.
  • Support contract tendering for supply bases, warehouses, marine vessels, aviation services, stevedoring, and customs-clearing agents.
  • Coordinate materials movements to offshore and onshore rig locations.
  • Support logistics strategies, inventory management, material control, and contractor supervision.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in supply chain and logistics, preferably within international or frontier operations.
  • Extensive Upstream Oil and Gas experience, particularly in drilling support, materials, equipment, and services.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics procedures, operational requirements, and regulatory processes in Nigeria.
  • Exceptional planning, scheduling, coordination, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional stakeholder management abilities.
