About the Role
Terre des hommes (Tdh) is the leading Swiss child relief agency, protecting children's rights and providing humanitarian assistance in over 30 countries. We are currently seeking a dedicated and strategic Logistics Coordinator to oversee our supply chain, fleet, equipment, and security protocols in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Design and deploy the national logistics strategy while supporting programs throughout the entire project cycle.
- Ensure strict compliance with Tdh frameworks for supply, fleet, equipment, stock, premises, and IT management.
- Provide comprehensive logistical support and training to field bases, staff, and external partners.
- Define and implement robust internal control mechanisms to guarantee optimal resource utilization and asset safety.
- Contribute to the operational security strategy and enforce adherence to security SOPs in collaboration with leadership.
- Supervise the coordination logistics team and provide functional oversight to all delegation logistics personnel.
- Master degree in Logistics, Transport, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a logistician within an international NGO.
- Demonstrated experience working in emergency or insecure humanitarian contexts.
- Strong mastery of logistics and major donor procedures such as ECHO, UNICEF, and SDC.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, capacity building, and negotiation skills.
