About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a prominent leader in the Nigerian manufacturing and agro-allied sector, is looking for a dedicated Data Tracking Assistant to join Golden Transport Company. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our extensive supply chain operations by leveraging GPS tracking technology and fleet management systems to monitor truck movements, minimize transit delays, and enhance overall transportation efficiency across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Track and monitor truck movements in real-time to improve turnaround time and maximize fleet efficiency using data analytics.
- Monitor and report instances of idle trucks at loading bays and in-transit locations to improve loading and offloading turnaround.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to provide actionable insights for management.
- Log and monitor customer complaints via toll-free lines and communication channels to facilitate prompt resolution and high satisfaction.
- Escalate and caution drivers against dangerous driving behaviors such as overspeeding using tracking devices.
- Track and facilitate the renewal of expired truck documents to ensure strict regulatory compliance.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain all truck tracking devices to guarantee uninterrupted system uptime.
- Minimum of a Diploma or OND in a relevant discipline.
- Professional certifications in Logistics, Fleet Management, Transportation, or Data Analytics are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in data tracking, fleet monitoring, or transportation operations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using GPS tracking and advanced fleet management systems.
