In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating seamless lending processes, evaluating client financial statuses, and ensuring sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Review incoming loan requests and comprehensively assess clients’ financial status and creditworthiness.
- Analyze associated financial risks to approve or reject loan requests in alignment with company guidelines.
- Contact clients to gather necessary financial data, documentation, and verify application details.
- Process loan disbursements efficiently and ensure all paperwork complies with internal credit policies and legal regulations.
- Follow up proactively with clients regarding loan renewals and repayments.
- Monitor the progress of existing loans and manage collection efforts to minimize default rates.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification, with higher academic credentials being an added advantage.
- Proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or in a similar financial services role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail in risk assessment.
