About the Role
Dangote Cement Plc is seeking a skilled and dedicated LMV / HEMM Maintenance Specialist - Electrical to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. As a key player in our operations, you will ensure the optimal electrical performance of our light motor vehicles and heavy earth moving machinery. Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose and repair heavy earth moving machines and light vehicles.
- Plan and execute proactive preventive and corrective electrical maintenance schedules.
- Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior technicians and mechanics to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to strict safety standards across all workshop and plant areas.
- Collaborate with inventory teams to ensure adequate spare parts planning and management.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex electrical faults and error codes.
- Assist in planning and monitoring fleet availability to support continuous plant operations.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven electrical engineering experience working with heavy machinery and automotive systems.
- Strong expertise in electrical principles, DC circuits, diagnostics, and materials science.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic software, interpreting fault codes, and navigating technical manuals.
- Familiarity with SAP and a valid driver's license.
