About the Role
Street Souk, Africa's premier streetwear convention and fashion festival based in Lagos, Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Live Show Manager to oversee the planning and execution of live performances and show elements across our events. Founded in 2018, Street Souk serves as a massive community hub celebrating African street fashion, music, skateboarding, and youth culture. In this role, you will work closely with production, talent, and creative teams to ensure every live moment is flawlessly coordinated and delivered.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the comprehensive planning and seamless execution of live shows, concerts, and stage performances.
- Coordinate artists, DJs, hypemen, hosts, performers, and on-site show teams.
- Develop and manage detailed show schedules, running orders, and technical cues.
- Collaborate closely with production and technical crews to align on stage and audio-visual requirements.
- Coordinate all artist rehearsals, soundchecks, green room hospitality, and backstage movements.
- Oversee live show execution, actively troubleshooting and resolving any issues in real-time.
- Ensure all performances start on time and meet the highest standards of entertainment quality.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience managing live shows, concerts, festivals, or high-profile stage performances.
- Demonstrated experience in artist relations, talent coordination, and managing live entertainment teams.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Calm, adaptable, and solution-oriented demeanor under high-pressure event environments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to thrive in fast-moving, dynamic settings.
- Flexibility to work unconventional hours, including evenings, weekends, and intense event days in Lagos.
