Key Responsibilities- Cover live events on-site, including concerts, product launches, festivals, brand activations, and cultural gatherings across Nigeria.
- Capture high-quality photo and video content specifically optimized for various social media platforms and digital channels.
- Deliver engaging content in real-time or shortly after events, strictly adhering to project briefs and tight deadlines.
- Execute paid event coverage to agreed standards, ensuring all commercial and partner expectations are successfully met.
- Collaborate closely with the Picks, Design, and Sales teams to streamline multi-channel event deliverables.
- Maintain absolute consistency with Pulse’s established visual guidelines and elite editorial standards.
- Contribute innovative ideas to continuously improve event coverage formats, storytelling techniques, and execution over time.
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Arts, Communications, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven professional experience in event photography, videography, digital content creation, or a closely related role.
- Strong technical photo and video production skills, with a deep understanding of social media content formats, algorithms, and digital trends.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing past live event coverage such as concerts, festivals, and brand activations.
- Proficiency in operating professional camera equipment, portable lighting kits, and standard video or photo editing software.
- Ability to thrive under intense pressure, work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and meet demanding real-time publishing deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with incredible attention to detail.
