About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Officer to join our team in Abuja. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth execution of all court-related operations, managing legal documentation, and maintaining strong relationships with judicial officers and court staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately file court processes and legal documents within statutory deadlines.
  • Track case progress, adjournments, and update internal records promptly.
  • Liaise effectively with court officials, clients, and relevant third parties.
  • Serve letters, notices, and retrieve certified true copies of judgments and orders.
  • Monitor court proceedings and provide timely status reports to the DRG and supervising Partner.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian judicial procedures and filing requirements.
  • Coordinate court appearances, pre-trial meetings, and manage legal correspondence.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of HND, B.Sc., or B.A. in a relevant discipline.
  • Certification in Litigation Support, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is an added advantage.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven relevant experience working in a reputable law firm with deep knowledge of Nigerian court processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong administrative skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
