About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Literature-in-English Teacher to join our growing academic team. In this role, you will help students develop a strong appreciation of literature while improving their analytical, interpretive, communication, and critical-thinking skills within a secure, caring, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach prescribed literary texts and relevant literary concepts effectively.
- Develop students' critical reading, interpretive, and analytical abilities.
- Prepare students thoroughly for internal and external examinations.
- Conduct engaging literary discussions and interactive classroom activities.
- Set, administer, and mark assessments to track student progress.
- Support students in developing strong, well-structured written responses.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Ed., B.Sc, B.A with PGDE) or NCE in English, Literature, or a related field.
- TRCN registration or evidence of active registration is an added advantage.
- Proven experience teaching Literature-in-English in a recognized secondary school.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Sound knowledge of modern teaching methods and digital learning tools.
