About the Role
Imaad Schools Lekki is a premier, faith-based Muslim British international school situated in Lagos, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a passionate and competent Literacy Teacher to join our esteemed primary school team and help learners achieve their highest potential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective Literacy and English Language lessons aligned with the British and Nigerian curricula.
- Prepare students comprehensively for internal and external examinations with a focus on academic achievement and confidence.
- Maintain excellent classroom management to create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Collaborate professionally with colleagues, parents, and school management to support student holistic development.
- Commit actively to safeguarding, child protection, and the overall wellbeing of all learners.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably within a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of English Language teaching strategies and literacy development.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and external examination preparation.
- Demonstrated capability in being caring, creative, organized, and student-focused.
