About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and physically fit Lifeguard / Poolside Supervisor to join our hospitality team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our poolside environment, ensuring a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable atmosphere for all our esteemed guests and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor swimming pool areas continuously to ensure the utmost safety of all guests and visitors.
- Enforce all pool safety rules, regulations, and guidelines politely and firmly.
- Provide immediate and professional first aid, CPR, or water rescue assistance in the event of an emergency.
- Maintain pristine poolside cleanliness, ensuring sunbeds, towels, and surrounding amenities are neatly arranged.
- Monitor chemical levels and general cleanliness of the pool water in coordination with the maintenance team.
- Attend proactively to guest requests, inquiries, and special needs while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Report any facility hazards, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to hotel management immediately.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification or equivalent academic certification.
- Previous professional experience as a lifeguard or in a similar poolside supervision role is strongly preferred.
- Proficient swimming abilities and physical fitness suited for water rescue operations.
- Valid certification in First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding from a recognized institution.
- Excellent communication and guest relations skills with a welcoming, customer-friendly demeanor.
