We are currently seeking a vigilant and professional Lifeguard to join our dynamic recreation team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the utmost safety of our guests around our swimming facilities, preventing accidents, and responding swiftly to any water-related emergencies. Key Responsibilities- Monitor swimming pool areas continuously to ensure the safety and security of all guests and visitors.
- Enforce pool rules, regulations, and safety policies consistently and professionally.
- Perform timely and effective water rescues and administer emergency first aid, CPR, or artificial respiration when necessary.
- Inspect the pool and surrounding recreational area daily for hazards, maintaining cleanliness and proper equipment functionality.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or suspicious behavior immediately to hotel management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests and addressing their inquiries regarding pool usage and safety.
- Minimum of WAEC/SSCE or an equivalent academic qualification.
- Possession of a valid Lifeguard certification from the Red Cross or a recognized equivalent body is a strong advantage.
- At least 1 to 2 years of proven professional experience working as a lifeguard in a hotel, resort, or recreational facility.
- Exceptional swimming proficiency, physical stamina, and endurance.
- High level of alertness, responsibility, and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
