Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate daily operations within the college library, ensuring efficient service delivery to students and faculty.
- Catalog, classify, and organize books, periodicals, digital media, and other academic resources using modern library management systems.
- Provide reference and research assistance to undergraduate and postgraduate students, supporting their academic pursuits.
- Conduct information literacy training sessions and workshops for students and staff.
- Collaborate with academic departments to curate and update reading lists, textbooks, and electronic databases.
- Contribute to institutional research and academic development through published conference or seminar papers.
- Master's degree in Library Science, accompanied by at least one (1) conference or seminar paper.
- A good Bachelor's degree (minimum Second-Class Lower Division) in Library Science (B.LS), with at least three (3) years of post-qualification cognate experience and one (1) conference or seminar paper.
- For internal applicants: A serving Librarian II with a minimum of three (3) years of satisfactory service on that grade and one (1) presented conference or seminar paper.
- Strong proficiency in digital library systems, cataloging standards, and information retrieval.
