About the Role
Nobzo Verse Limited is a pioneering property-technology company dedicated to making real estate transparent, efficient, and accessible across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Legal Officer II to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive legal support across corporate, commercial, regulatory, and employment matters, helping us navigate the legal landscape of the Nigerian prop-tech sector with confidence and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure robust corporate governance and maintain compliance with Nigerian corporate and labour laws.
- Advise executive management on legal and regulatory risks related to business expansion and daily operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to data protection regulations, including the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and NDPA.
- Coordinate effectively with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as required.
- Provide sound legal guidance on employment matters, intellectual property, and consumer protection issues.
- Possession of an LL.B and B.L, with active qualification as a legal practitioner in Nigeria.
- Between 3 to 6 years of post-call professional legal experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate and commercial law, with prop-tech, tech, or financial services exposure being a strong advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian regulatory frameworks, labour laws, and data privacy requirements.
- Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, legal research, and analytical skills.
- High professional integrity, sound strategic reasoning, and excellent communication abilities.
