About the Role
Nobzo Verse Limited is a pioneering Nigerian property-technology company on a mission to make real estate more transparent, efficient, and human by connecting people, properties, and trusted managers in one modern ecosystem. We are currently seeking a diligent, commercially aware Legal Officer I to join our dynamic Legal Directorate and support our continuous innovation in the prop-tech space.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and support the negotiation of commercial agreements, contracts, MOUs, and other legal documents.
- Provide comprehensive legal research and advisory support on operational, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters.
- Assist in monitoring company-wide compliance with applicable Nigerian laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain corporate records, contracts, legal correspondence, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct legal due diligence for prospective partnerships, business arrangements, and corporate activities.
- Assist with dispute resolution, legal correspondence, and liaison with external counsel as required.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure legal considerations are properly addressed in all business operations.
- LL.B and B.L with active qualification as a Nigerian legal practitioner.
- 1 to 3 years of post-call professional experience in corporate/commercial law, contract review, or legal research.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian corporate, labour, regulatory, and data protection laws.
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate legal risks with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
