About the Role
Chairborne Global Services Limited is a multi-disciplinary leader providing critical support services to the oil and gas industry across Nigeria and Africa, including marine logistics, engineering, and offshore support. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Legal Executive to join our growing team and ensure our business operations remain legally sound, compliant, and strategically protected.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely, practical legal advice on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and employment matters to management and internal departments.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, service agreements, MOUs, leases, and NDAs.
- Monitor regulatory compliance, statutory obligations, corporate filings, and key legal dates to mitigate potential legal risks.
- Liaise seamlessly with external solicitors, regulatory authorities, government agencies, and professional bodies on behalf of the organization.
- Support HR and administration on labor laws, employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and internal policy implementation.
- Maintain a comprehensive, central register of all contracts, litigation matters, and significant corporate legal documents.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Must be called to the Nigerian Bar and be in good standing with the Nigerian Bar Association.
- Minimum of 7 years of post-call legal experience within a corporate organization or reputable law firm.
- Proven expertise in contract management, corporate governance, commercial law, and legal risk assessment.
