Key Responsibilities- Assist the Legal and Compliance Manager in monitoring and ensuring adherence to all relevant Nigerian laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts, agreements, and corporate documents.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulatory frameworks impacting our industry and advise management accordingly.
- Assist in preparing compliance reports, board resolutions, and corporate filings with relevant regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to promote a culture of compliance, ethics, and corporate accountability.
- Minimum of a Second Class Upper or Second Class Lower Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a duly accredited university.
- Barrister at Law (B.L) certification from the Nigerian Law School.
- 2 to 5 years of post-call work experience in a legal, regulatory compliance, or corporate secretarial role.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Nigerian regulatory environment and corporate governance best practices.
