Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical workshops, and tutorials for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students in Welding & Fabrication Engineering.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and laboratory manuals aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, industrial training, and research initiatives.
- Conduct impactful research, publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, and present papers at academic conferences and seminars.
- Participate in departmental, school, and college-wide committee meetings, student advising, and administrative duties.
- Collaborate with industry partners to ensure training programs remain relevant to modern technological advancements and labor market demands.
- A Master’s degree in Welding & Fabrication Engineering or a closely relevant discipline, supported by at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, along with a minimum of three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, plus two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) presented conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern welding technologies, engineering workshop practices, and technical instruction.
