About the Role
Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to join our prestigious academic community as a Lecturer III in the Department of Electrical Electronics Engineering within the School of Engineering. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and tutorials for undergraduate and diploma students in Electrical Electronics Engineering.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources aligned with institutional standards and industry needs.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish academic papers in peer-reviewed journals, and actively participate in departmental seminars and conferences.
- Supervise student projects, dissertations, and industrial training placements to ensure practical competence.
- Participate in student academic advising, mentorship, and departmental administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline, along with at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, supported by at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, plus two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) presented conference or seminar papers are also encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern engineering software, practical laboratory equipment, and effective pedagogical techniques.
