Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer III in the School of Engineering, specifically within the Department of Industrial Maintenance Engineering. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) engineering students.
- Develop and update curriculum materials in line with modern industrial maintenance engineering standards and NBTE guidelines.
- Supervise student final year projects, industrial training (SIWES), and academic research.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in industrial maintenance and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in department, school, and college-wide committees, academic administration, and community service.
- Engage in continuous professional development by attending and presenting papers at academic conferences and seminars.
- Possession of a Master's degree in Industrial Maintenance Engineering or a closely relevant discipline, supported by at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, coupled with a minimum of three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, alongside two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) presented conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
