Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students in Transport Management.
  • Design, update, and implement course materials aligned with current industry standards and academic curricula.
  • Supervise student research projects, industrial attachments, and academic dissertations.
  • Conduct high-quality research, publish papers in peer-reviewed academic journals, and present findings at relevant conferences and seminars.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, committee works, and academic administration within the School of Environmental Studies.
  • Provide academic counseling and mentorship to students to foster their holistic development and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical transport sector applications.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Transport Management or a closely related relevant discipline, accompanied by at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
  • Alternatively, a good Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, supported by a minimum of three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, plus two (2) conference or seminar papers.
  • Serving Assistant Lecturers who have completed at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and presented two (2) conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrable passion for teaching and academic research.
