About the Role
Yaba College of Technology, Nigeria's premier higher institution, invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academic professionals for the position of Lecturer III in Printing Technology within the School of Arts, Design and Printing. As an integral member of our academic community, you will play a vital role in delivering quality instruction, conducting impactful research, and preparing students for successful careers in the printing and allied industries.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical training, and tutorials in Printing Technology to National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students.
- Design, update, and evaluate curriculum content in line with contemporary industry standards and NBTE guidelines.
- Supervise student projects, industrial attachments, and research activities.
- Participate in departmental administration, academic advising, and community service initiatives.
- Publish academic research papers and actively contribute to institutional development through seminars and conferences.
- Master's degree in Printing Technology or a relevant discipline, accompanied by at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, plus a minimum of three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, alongside two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) presented conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
