About the Role
Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution renowned for academic excellence and technological innovation, is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join our esteemed faculty as a Lecturer III in the School of Science, Department of Physical Science.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate students in Physical Science across ND and HND programs.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
- Participate in curriculum development, review, and continuous improvement of academic programs.
- Supervise student research projects, industrial attachments, and academic assignments.
- Provide mentorship, academic advising, and career guidance to students.
- Contribute to departmental, school, and institutional administrative duties as assigned by the management.
- A Master's degree in a relevant Physical Science discipline, coupled with at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, supported by at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, alongside two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers who have completed at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and presented two (2) conference or seminar papers are also eligible.
