Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic professional to join our prestigious academic community as a Lecturer III in Taxation within the School of Management and Business Studies. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Taxation and related courses for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and college-wide academic committees.
- Supervise student research projects, industrial attachments, and academic assignments.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through examinations, continuous assessments, and practical assignments.
- Provide academic counseling and mentorship to students to foster personal and professional growth.
- A Master’s degree in Taxation or a relevant discipline, together with at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, combined with at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience and two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers who have completed at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and presented two (2) conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
