About the Role
Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution established in 1947, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer III to join our esteemed Department of Marketing within the School of Management and Business Studies. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) marketing students.
- Develop and update course curricula, teaching materials, and assessment tools in line with regulatory standards and industry trends.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish academic papers in peer-reviewed journals, and present findings at relevant conferences or seminars.
- Provide academic counseling, mentoring, and career guidance to students to support their overall development.
- Participate in departmental, school, and college-wide committees, accreditation exercises, and community service initiatives.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical commercial applications.
- Master’s degree in Marketing or a closely related relevant discipline, accompanied by at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, backed by at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, plus two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers who have completed at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and presented two (2) conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
