Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution established in 1947, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic professional to join our esteemed academic community as a Lecturer III in Educational Foundations within the School of Technical Education. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate students in Educational Foundations and related courses.
- Develop curriculum content, instructional materials, and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Conduct impactful academic research, publish papers in peer-reviewed journals, and actively participate in departmental conferences and seminars.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research dissertations, and academic field placements.
- Participate in student academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance.
- Contribute to departmental committees, curriculum reviews, and college-wide administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
- A Master’s degree in Educational Foundations or a relevant discipline, accompanied by at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, plus at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, along with two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) presentation papers at conferences or seminars are also encouraged to apply.
