Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution established in 1947, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer III in the Department of Computer Technology under the School of Technology. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, practical training, and seminars to undergraduate and diploma students in Computer Technology.
  • Develop and update course curricula in alignment with current industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Supervise student projects, research assignments, and industrial training attachments.
  • Contribute actively to departmental research, academic publications, and scholarly conferences.
  • Participate in departmental, school, and college-wide committees to support administrative and institutional development.
  • Mentor students and provide academic guidance to foster their holistic professional growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a closely related discipline, along with at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
  • Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, backed by at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, plus two (2) conference or seminar papers.
  • Serving Assistant Lecturers who have completed at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and presented two (2) conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
