Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lecturer III to join our esteemed Department of Computer Engineering within the School of Engineering. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and diploma students in Computer Engineering.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources in line with current industry standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research works, and industrial training attachments.
- Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Participate in departmental, school, and college-wide committees, meetings, and academic events.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and support to students to enhance their academic performance and career readiness.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a closely relevant discipline, accompanied by at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, along with at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, and two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) presented conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
