Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic professionals for the position of Lecturer III in the Department of Accountancy under the School of Management and Business Studies. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students in Accountancy.
- Design, update, and evaluate course curricula in line with modern accounting standards and institutional guidelines.
- Supervise student research projects, industrial attachments, and academic assignments.
- Conduct credible research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, alongside presenting papers at conferences and seminars.
- Participate actively in departmental, school, and college-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Mentor students and provide academic counseling to support their professional and personal growth.
- A Master’s degree in Accountancy or a closely relevant discipline, complemented by at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, supported by at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, plus two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with a minimum of three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
