About the Role
Doviana College of Education, an approved private tertiary institution by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) located in Gboko, Benue State, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer III. We are committed to producing well-motivated teachers with high personal and professional discipline, integrity, and competence across various academic departments including English, Political Science, Sciences, and Vocational Education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging physical and virtual lectures to undergraduate students in accordance with the approved NCCE curriculum.
- Design, upload instructional materials, and manage courses utilizing the institution's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Conduct continuous assessments, examinations, and provide constructive feedback to students via e-communication channels.
- Engage in active scholarly research, publishing peer-reviewed articles, and contributing to departmental development.
- Mentor students academically and professionally, instilling core values of integrity and teaching excellence.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and college-wide committee assignments as required.
- Possession of a good Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower in a relevant discipline.
- Evidence of admission or active enrolment into a Master's degree program.
- Possession of a recognized relevant teaching qualification in compliance with NCCE requirements.
- Mandatory possession of a valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) license and NST membership.
- Demonstrated 1 to 3 years of teaching or research experience, supported by at least 2 scholarly articles or a viable publication plan.
- Proficiency in digital education tools, virtual teaching platforms, and online assessment administration.
- Valid NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate where applicable.
