Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Software Engineering
- Design and update course materials, curricula, and assessment methods in line with current industry standards
- Supervise undergraduate students' projects, assignments, and research work
- Conduct and publish original research in reputable academic journals
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and curriculum development
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students
- Contribute to the university's community engagement and outreach initiatives
- Support departmental administrative duties as required
- A PhD in Software Engineering, or a Master's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years' teaching experience
- A strong record of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals
- Evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), or a valid Exemption/Exclusion Certificate where applicable
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and mentor undergraduate students
