We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished professional to join our Department of Software Engineering as a Lecturer II for the upcoming 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Software Engineering and related computing courses to undergraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, industrial training, and academic research activities.
- Design, update, and develop curriculum materials to reflect current trends and industry standards in software development and technology.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable, peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Must possess a PhD degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of two (2) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A proven track record of scholarly publications in reputable local and international academic journals.
- High proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with demonstrable competence in digital tools and modern e-learning platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
