Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Public Relations and related communication subjects.
  • Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and academic assignments at various levels.
  • Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
  • Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives as required by the university.

Qualifications
  • A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, or a closely related field.
  • For candidates with a Master's degree, a minimum of three (3) years of tertiary teaching experience is required, along with a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications.
  • A First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, OR a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a Ph.D.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in modern pedagogical methods and digital learning technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
