We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified academic professional to join our Faculty of Social and Management Science as a Lecturer II in Public Relations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Public Relations and related communication disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and student internships.
- Engage in continuous academic research, publishing scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals to contribute to the university's research profile.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, fostering both intellectual and moral growth in line with university values.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in Public Relations or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of two (2) years of cognate university teaching or research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly potential, active research, and relevant academic publications.
- Proficiency in ICT-driven teaching methods and modern learning management systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative team-working skills.
- Current professional registration and valid practicing licences where applicable.
