Jimoh Babalola University (JBU), a premium and fully licensed private higher education institution in Ilorin, Kwara State, is seeking a dedicated and academically driven Lecturer II in Public Health Science. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Public Health Science
- Design and update course materials in line with current academic standards and industry trends
- Supervise undergraduate students' research projects, assignments, and academic progress
- Conduct original research and contribute to scholarly publications in reputable journals
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic committees
- Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students
- Contribute to community outreach and public health advocacy initiatives on behalf of the university
- Support the university's broader mission of academic excellence and societal impact
- A PhD in Public Health Science, or a Master's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years' teaching experience
- A strong record of scholarly publications in reputable academic journals
- Evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or a valid Certificate of Exemption/Exclusion, where applicable
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor undergraduate students effectively
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
